Retail flipping, tracked to the dollar

Buy the price error. Sell it on eBay.

Stores and third-party sellers misprice things every day: a misplaced decimal, a coupon that stacks too far, a repricing bot gone wrong. Sticky Picks teaches you to catch them at Amazon, Walmart, Sam's Club, Woot, Kohl's and more, check what they really sell for, and track every flip from checkout to eBay payout.

How it works

A price-error flip, start to payout

Same five steps every time. Skip the second one and you're just shopping.

  1. Spot the mistake

A price far below what the item normally sells for: a misplaced decimal, a coupon that stacks too far, a clearance tag set wrong.

  2. Check eBay sold prices

Look at completed sales, not asking prices. If it doesn't sell well above what you'd pay after fees, pass.

  3. Buy fast, expect cancels

Errors get fixed quickly and stores can cancel orders. Buy a sensible quantity and don't count it until it ships.

  4. List it on eBay

Price from the sold comps, photograph the real item, and ship fast. Sealed and new-in-box sells best.

  5. Track the real profit

Sticky Picks logs every eBay order through Zapier and shows your profit per unit after fees and shipping.

Where we look

Amazon

Third-party sellers set their own prices, often with repricing software. One typo or bad rule and a listing goes live far below market. Compare checkout to eBay sold listings.

Walmart

Online and in-store prices don't always match. Scan clearance in store and check what it rings up at.

Sam's Club

Member pricing and in-club markdowns. You need a membership to buy.

Woot

Short-run deals with limited quantities. Good prices go fast, so know your eBay comps before it opens.

Kohl's

Sales, percent-off coupons and Kohl's Cash can stack, so checkout can land far below the tag.

And others

Target, Best Buy, Home Depot and more. Same rule everywhere: check sold prices before you buy.

Track your own flips

Log what you buy, connect your eBay sales through Zapier, and see real profit per unit. Free to start. Share your flips on the live board if you want to.
